Laurie and Brett are about as rad as it gets. They got engaged at Coachella. They got married in South Beach. They went to South Africa on their honeymoon where Brett had a jam session with a local band. Rad, right? If that wasn't enough I also got to work with one of my favorite planners, Kasey D Weddings and my friend Drew W flew down from Denver to shoot with me. Drew is an awesome photographer and some of the shots below are his.

Lina and Tim's destination wedding at the National Hotel in South Beach was such an emotional day. I'm usually borderline at every wedding, but at this one I cried twice. Lina and Tim would tell you that they're not very affectionate in public, but I tend to disagree. After seeing the images, I think you will too. It's always such a privilege to document one of the happiest days of someone's life. I feel blessed every week to do what I do.
Melissa and John's wedding at the National Hotel on New Years Day was one awesome way to start 2011. As I much as I love my larger weddings, these smaller, more intimate affairs have a cool vibe of their own. When you throw in the energy of South Beach, it makes for one cool wedding. Thanks M + J for a great night full of laughter and fun.
This wedding was pure awesomeness. I know that word gets thrown around a lot with little meaning, but in this case it's pure truth. Jade is half Venezuelan and half Greek, and Santiago is Argentinian. They brought different parts of their heritage into their wedding and it made it such a unique celebration. They did an Argentine Tango as their first dance, had Greek, Argentinian and Spanish food, then all of the guests learned how to do a country line dance (as a nod to Jade's father's side of the family) and a Greek Wedding Dance called the Kaslamantiano. Dancing and music is really important to them, so they had a DJ and a Latin Band. As you can imagine the dance floor was packed the entire night. Oh yeah, and those Hookah's have fruit flavored tobacco in them. (honest, I tried it!).
And here's all of their fantastic vendors:
