This incredibly beautiful and well-styled elopement in Laguna Beach, CA was such a dream to be a part of. Kasey is not only a good friend, but a super talented and creative wedding stylist and planner that I've previously worked with on a number of weddings and editorial shoots. Cam is a very talented chef and it was so fun cooking with him and learning some new tricks and recipes while I stayed with them in Laguna. Kasey and Cam grew up in the same town in Northern Michigan but re-connected years later on a dating app. They live in Walla Walla, WA but decided to elope in Laguna Beach, CA where Kasey's family has a vacation home.
We had the best time scouting, cooking a taco feast, shredding carrots for the wedding cake Cam made, and styling beautiful vignettes to make their intimate and private wedding day truly unique. Top of the World Park provided the perfect backdrop for their ceremony and Table Rock was perfect for some moodier portraits at the end of the day. My favorite detail has to be Kasey's cape, which was designed by Laurie Haluska, who also did the costumes for Return of the Jedi.

Laura and Carlos hosted a stylish and fun destination wedding at one of my favorite Miami wedding venues, The Deering Estate. When they initially started thinking about their wedding day they knew they wanted a beautiful outdoor ceremony and a big "fancy-dress" dinner party with delicious food, free flowing wine, and all night dancing. With the help of their fabulous wedding planners, Jessica and Michael of Masi Events, that's exactly what they got. Laura got ready at The Edition on South Beach, which provided a great backdrop for the ladies getting ready and enjoying a pre-ceremony toast. Simply put, it was a perfect day. You can see more details about this Miami Destination Wedding on Style Me Pretty. (see a full list of the talented vendors below the photos)

I always love the opportunity to visit New York City. It's so full of life and character and I love shooting somewhere different. For this session, we did the first part in Dutchess County, at Laura and Carlos' historic farm house that they are renovating and then finished their session the next morning in Park Slope. We took beautiful photos, ate delicious food and bonded our mutual love of Ryan Adams. It was truly a dream session. Films used: Portra 400 and Ilford Delta 3200 Dev/Scan: State Film Lab
Inspired by their venue, Estancia Culinaria, a working avocado farm in Homestead, Leiana and Jason had a relaxed and effortless wedding day. Alore Events did a beautiful job pulling all of their design elements together and directing a flawless, yet fun and laid-back vibe. Their First Look in the avocado grove was emotional and touching, and there wasn't a dry eye (mine included) during their ceremony. The reception featured a full dance floor with dinner provided by two food trucks serving tacos and grilled cheese sandwiches. Their day was featured on Snippet and Ink. Head over to read more about their inspiration and favorite parts of the day.
